Course Overview
The STSDSD course is mandatory for seafarers who are assigned specific security responsibilities onboard ships. It trains participants on understanding maritime security threats, applying security procedures, recognizing risks, and working under a Ship Security Plan. The course complies with the STCW Code and the ISPS Code requirements and includes both theoretical and case-based training.

As per D G Shipping Training Circular No 4 of 2028 MTI’s are directed not to conduct any batch, if the batch strength is less than 25% of the approved intake capacity granted by the Directorate.
