Should pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as subjects with minimum 60% marks AND Should score a minimum 50% marks in English subject in 10th or 12th Examination AND Candidates should clear CET conducted by IMU AND Medical fitness certificate in the prescribed format issued by a Medical Officer approved by Directorate General of Shipping AND Candidates should have Indian Passport.

Minimum Marks:

  • Minimum 60% aggregate in PCM
  • Minimum 50% in English (10th or 12th)

Eye-Sight:

Unaided vision: 1.0(6/6) in better eye and 0.67(6/9) in another eye.

Eye Health:

No eye conditions, full eye movement, normal pupil response, excellent binocular vision. No color blindness, tested with Ishihara Chart.

Physical Fitness:

Candidates seeking admission to this Programme must be medically fit and need to produce certificate of medical fitness issued by D.G.Shipping Approved Doctors.The Medical Fitness Test can also be done with our in-house DGS Approved Doctor, at additional charges.

Indian Maritime University – Common Entrance Test (IMU-CET)

National-level computer-based entrance exam conducted by IMU for all UG programs, including B.Sc. Nautical Science.

Caution Deposits are refundable at the end of the course after adjustments of laundry charges & damages, breakages etc., if any.
