Batch Strength Policy
As per D G Shipping Training Circular No 4 of 2028 MTI’s are directed not to conduct any batch, if the batch strength is less than 25% of the approved intake capacity granted by the Directorate.

Mandatory Requirements
- Should complete minimum 18 months Sea-Service after obtaining Second Mate (FG) CoC

- Should complete Chief Mate Phase-I competency course from a DGS approved MTI
