Course Overview
This course is mandated for marine engineer officers (of all grades) revalidating their Certificate of Competency. It provides updates on marine engineering practices, environmental protection, safety management, legislative changes, and technical upgrades in line with STCW and DG Shipping guidelines. The course enhances operational competency and ensures awareness of current international maritime standards.

Batch Strength Policy
As per D G Shipping Training Circular No 4 of 2028 MTI’s are directed not to conduct any batch, if the batch strength is less than 25% of the approved intake capacity granted by the Directorate.
