Course Overview
The Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (PSCRB) course is designed for seafarers who are assigned duties related to launching and handling survival craft and rescue boats (other than fast rescue boats). It focuses on practical skills in launching lifeboats, managing survival craft operations, using communication and signaling equipment, and performing rescue procedures in emergencies. The course meets the requirements of STCW Regulation VI/2-1.

Batch Strength Policy
As per D G Shipping Training Circular No 4 of 2028 MTI’s are directed not to conduct any batch, if the batch strength is less than 25% of the approved intake capacity granted by the Directorate.
