Course Overview

The Medical Care Course (MCC) is intended for officers assigned responsibility for medical care onboard ships. It provides knowledge and hands-on experience to manage onboard illnesses, injuries, and emergencies. The course covers diagnostics, patient care, medical equipment usage, telemedicine, and recordkeeping, aligned with STCW Regulation VI/4 and DG Shipping norms.
