Course Overview
The ECDIS course is mandatory for all officers in charge of a navigational watch. It equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills to operate Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems efficiently and safely. This course focuses on chart interpretation, route planning, sensor integration, alarms, and safety procedures using full-bridge ECDIS simulators, in compliance with STCW A-II/1 and A-II/2 and DG Shipping regulations.

Batch Strength Policy
As per D G Shipping Training Circular No 4 of 2028 MTI’s are directed not to conduct any batch, if the batch strength is less than 25% of the approved intake capacity granted by the Directorate.
