Course Overview
The Bridge Resource Management (BRM) course is designed to train deck officers in safe navigation practices through the effective use of all available resources—human, technical, and procedural. Using a full-mission bridge simulator, the course provides realistic scenarios to develop and refine communication, situational awareness, workload management, and emergency response. The course is based on IMO Model Course 1.22 and supports STCW competency standards at the operational and management levels, though it is not DG Shipping approved.
