Course Overview
TASCO is an advanced training program for seafarers working on oil tankers, fulfilling the STCW Regulation V/1-1 and DG Shipping requirements. Batch Strength Policy
As per D G Shipping Training Circular No 4 of 2028 MTI’s are directed not to conduct any batch, if the batch strength is less than 25% of the approved intake capacity granted by the Directorate.

Mandatory Requirements
- Officers holding CoC or Completed sea service required for appearing for a Certificate of Competency examination
- Should holds a Certificate of Proficiency for Basic Training for Oil Tanker cargo Operations
- Has at least three months of approved sea going service on oil tankers within the last sixty months
