Course Overview
The Radar ARPA & Navigation Simulator Course (RANSCO) is designed for officers in charge of a navigational watch. It provides advanced training in radar and ARPA use, collision avoidance, and voyage execution using full-mission bridge simulators. The course also focuses on decision-making, watchkeeping standards, and application of COLREGs under challenging navigational environments, as per STCW Regulation A-II/1 and A-II/2.

Batch Strength Policy
As per D G Shipping Training Circular No 4 of 2028 MTI’s are directed not to conduct any batch, if the batch strength is less than 25% of the approved intake capacity granted by the Directorate.
