Course Overview

The Elementary First Aid (EFA) course is a mandatory training module under STCW 2010 for all seafarers. It equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to handle medical emergencies at sea. The course covers patient assessment, CPR, bleeding control, burn treatment, and safe transportation of the injured. Training includes hands-on simulations to build competence in providing immediate care until professional help is available.
